Welcome from Will
Hi, and welcome to my campaign website. I’m Will Martin, a common-sense conservative, and I’d like to work for you as our state’s next Lt. Governor.
Why am I running for Lt. Governor?
There is a quiet, but unmistakable, crisis brewing in Wisconsin.
Too many of our young and young-at-heart are leaving Wisconsin due to overtaxation or feeling their opportunity is somewhere else.
Too many of our businesses are struggling, and too many of our people will need different skills as automation and AI increasingly impact the workplace and the workforce.
For too many, housing costs have soared, and the American Dream of homeownership is impossible.

State Spending Soars
Since Gov. Walker left office, the state budget alone has grown by 46%, but most Wisconsinites know their household incomes haven’t grown by anywhere near that rate. We now have more than 70 state government departments, agencies, boards, and commissions, and we spend more per person for our state budget than 25 states.
AI-Driven Job Losses
Recently, in just one month, six companies closed their facilities, costing nearly 1,000 Wisconsinites their jobs. In 2025, more than 10,000 American workers were laid off due to the impact of AI.
%
Rising Housing Costs
Rents are up by more than 30% in some Wisconsin communities since 2018, and the estimated median cost of a home in the Badger State is now over $340,000.
My Experience
I helped grow Wisconsin’s economy, train our people for family-supporting careers, and advance housing affordability in senior leadership roles under Governors Tommy Thompson and Scott Walker. I know what works, but also know firsthand the waste and redundancy that has only grown across our state government in recent years. As a small business owner for the last 25 years, I understand the costly impact of government over-regulation.
As Lt. Governor, I will help the next Governor shrink and streamline state government, cut its cost and regulatory burden, and make it work for you again. Together, the next Governor and I will partner with the private sector and communities to create more opportunities for our people to live, work, build, innovate, and thrive right here.
In 2026, we will not only celebrate the 250th anniversary of American Independence, but elect a new Governor and Lt. Governor in Wisconsin. I am asking for your support so we can ignite a new era of freedom, opportunity, and prosperity in the Badger State, from Kenosha to Cornucopia.
